I am new to node, but I have used javascript. In my last year, I have to develop a project for my honours project (dissertation), and I am thinking to develop an app similar to Airbnb, professors at university advised me to go with node and the MERN stack and create an API, but after some research I understood that is no the best way to go due to that is powerful on the I/O but not on the CPU processing task. I was thinking to approach ROR but now I am in stuck.1) Is node.js/MERN the correct way to proceed?2) If node.js is the correct why, why? and what are a good resource to proceed?
