Which authentication framework/method for node can be considered enterprise-ready?

I've been using nodejs for a while now. Since I mainly used it for small projects, authentication with passport-local and express-session was sufficient. But I am aware that these are probably not 'state of the art'. I'm about to start writing a concept for a bigger project and I finally want to integrate authentication that can be considered enterprise-ready. What approaches/methods/frameworks can you suggest? For instance, should I use token-based authentication rather than session-based? Thanks for your replies in advance!
