I see the questions "Can you recommend me some open source projects to read?" and "What are the best Node open source repos to learn from?" asked here quite often.While there are certainly good recommendations for projects to study (Express is one that comes to mind), I think this question is often asked the wrong way.There are way too many variables as far as what someone is looking to actually learn, i.e. - what kind of project (framework? library?), size of project, type (promise library? ORM?), etc. for recommendations to really be targeted.Instead I think often a better approach, although certainly not the only, is to gather a list of projects you use and then apply a list of filtering criteria to narrow it down to "good" ones to study.
