Suggestion of adding "Plugins Feature" to a Express project

I was built a REST API backend by using this boilerplatehttps://github.com/hagopj13/node-express-mongoose-boilerplateAnd now, I want to implement a Plugins Feature to handle different client customization that similar to what we see on Wordpress and mantisBT. I was tried to google "signal event hook" with "express js" but can't find tutorial/framework/example/npm tool that look help.Is there any standard way or tool to implement it?Thanks a lot 🙏
