Hi all, I'm looking for a general opinion on testing tools, as cypress is being the most loved one and I would like to understand why from people using itI found myself trying it (switching from selenium, u know) and found it super counter intuitive, writing code that seems synchronous but in fact isnt, with many chainings and some clicks that didn't work as expected. My first opinion was "idk, they say its good, I'll probably just have to get used to it", the click still hasnt arrived for me, is there anything that makes it better for you apart from the 0 configuration needed?I recently found out about playwright and I think it'll probably be my sanity saviour, an api that actually makes sense, simple install and configuration, multi platform, files upload, multi tab and I can use the testing framework I want (jest in my case, since I use it everywhere, I see no reason to be forced to chai or whatsoever)So the final question is, why is cypress so loved? Is it that there were no other real competitors ? Or they just didnt promote themselves enough? Or I just dont get it and my brain isnt compatible with it? What are your recommendations for projects that need to be tested on chrome/firefox(webkit is a plus but not necessary)
