Reacting to a POST request by answering to another

So, I'm working on this project that is almost finished, but this last part has me stumped.We have a phone application and a Chrome extension. You need to verify your fingerprint on the phone, to login to the Chrome extension.Currently, the server can receive confirmation from the phone, that the fingerprint is legit.The part that boogles my mind, is when this confirmation is received by the server, how can the server let the extension know that is can finish the login process?Btw. I'm using Express.JS
