I have recently started trying to make my own Logitech Harmony Remote system. For my devices that cannot be controlled with IR I am using a Raspberry Pi with an ir receiver and running terminal commands. This works great for a Roku because it has open api calls that work with curl. I found an apple tv cli program called node-appletv that is made if nodejs but it is really slow. Is there anyway I, as the user, can make it more efficient and run faster? As a side note I'm aware the apple tv 4th gen and 4k still have ir but they have added buttons that cannot be sent in ir one such function is suspend and the home button.TLDR: I have a slow nodejs program that I want to make faster. Is it possible?
