A senior dev told me to change a readme for a program I wrote using puppeteer that logs into a site and grabs a cookie, from saying “its a bot” to “its a script” . I was just wondering if that’s correct? To me I made a “bot” because it simulates a human logging in but he had his own interpretation of what a bot was and concluded that I made a script not a bot. Not sure who is right. If It is considered a bot then how can I explain that to him.
