Performance difference between the main 3 OSs

Does anyone note a noticeable performance difference of Node development using Windows/MacOS/Linux?​I assume Windows (till WSL1) can be definitely lesser performant than Unix/BSD based systems, but how can differ between Linux and MacOS?
