I'm building an auction site and I need to stream the current bid value to the user so that they are getting the most up-to-date bid value. I'm looking at socket.io and websockets. I want a lightweight non-paid solution that would be perfect for this use case. Does anyone have ideas on a good and reliable stream solution for this use case?
