What are some of the most difficult features to implement in a node.js API?

I am trying to learn node.js by implementing features that are rarely implemented or very hard to implement, so I can become more comfortable with the library and become more confident in my abilities. Could you suggest some features, and also perhaps post a link detailing how it can be implemented?
