A few questions from a dev coming from PHP

Hello everyone,I am currently a PHP dev, so I have a few questions for you. I have a new project and I have decided to make an electron/vue desktop application. (If you have better ideas please tell me, I was hesitating with electron/node)​But I am very confused about how to build my dev environment. I work and live at different places so I change between different laptops, PCs and between windows and Linux very often. So my dev env for my PHP projects is a vagrant machine with a fully automated provisioning, so I just have to clone my git repo and in 5 minutes and only two commands I can start to work.And in addition I have no idea how an electron desktop application can be remotely developed. I guess it's more complicated than simply pushing sources to the server. And all the tutorials I found online are not talking about this situation.​Also In a big company how are unified development env made? In mine we use Vagrant and Docker but we do PHP.So, how do you do this ?​Thanks a lot for your answers and I hope I respect the scope of this subreddit. Have a nice day !
