Nodejs for general purpose

First of all, im 15 so im not that advanced in programming yet.Anyways, rn im learning nodejs, to my understanding, its mostly for web backend. But sometimes i use it for general purpose, and its worked out fine so far. Im just curious, is there any kind of problem with using nodejs for general purpose.Btw when i say general purpose, i mostly design server backend softwares, i dont use nodejs for frontend.
