Best practices starter: minimal on code, heavy on patterns

Need your advice. I noted there's no Node starter project (boilerplate) that is both (a) minimal, not a heavy framework that changes the way you code (b) ready for scale & Microservices.Based on our best practices guide, I thought of creating such starter, see a draft here.
