As the title says, I’m a beginner with servers and this is a very basic question. I decided to post on r/node because I didn’t know/couldn’t find any other subreddits for general questions like this.Alright, onto the question. Suppose I’m working with a server that is supposed to update two+ users in real time (i.e. imessage or a live chat). Would that server use UDP or TCP/IP to update the clients.I imagine it would be UDP because that would constantly and immediately update the clients, but I’m not entirely sure (obviously).ELI5 answers appreciated, Sorry for the more general question and thanks for any help :)
