Hey everyone,I have to do a bachelor thesis this year. I've decided that I will go the SPA route with react on the frontend. However i struggle with choosing the backend stack. The project that I'm going to be building is a car rental management app for small/medium sized car rental companies. Track of cars, income/expenses, track of clients possibly bookings.I plan on using postgres as a database.Basically the choice for the backend framework came down to Laravel vs Node.js, most likely with express. What I really like about laravel is the eloquent ORM, What I did find as an alterantive is sequlize.js though I have zero experience with that. The biggest reason why I'm thinking about using node.js is that I've only done a few very small things with it and it'd be great to try something bigger experience and career wise. also: server side rendering and javascript both on backend and frontend.
